BSA Licence Breakdown

Trade Contractor: Brick & Segmental Paving

  • Lay segmental or unit paving, including surface preparation.
  • Concrete work for brick and segmental paving.
  • Incidental work of another class.

Builder: Restricted to Structural Landscaping

  • Preparation, fabrication and erection of fences, pergolas, gazebos, retaining walls and ornamental structures.
  • Minor site preparation and excavation and laying of paving material associated with landscaping.
  • Construction of artificial landform structures requiring a fabricated internal structure.

Builder: Low Rise

  • Building work on residential buildings other than multiple dwellings of more than 3 story’s
  • All classes of building work if the work is performed as a subcontractor of or a person who hold the appropriate license for the work, other then work for which the person also must be licensed by an entity other than the Authority.
  • The preparation of plans and specifications if the plans and specifications are –
    • For the licensee’s personal use; or
    • For use in building work to be performed by the licensee personally.
